Behind the silent windows,
Above all worries of our lives;
Stood a doggy staring across the skies;
In a distance, far away beyond reach.

Little doggy, what are you thinking?
Are the skies blue and calm,
Or do the green grasses bend,
With winds blowing the sandy roads?

Is there a winter in your heart;
Longing for the days to run and to jump,
In the bond of companionship,
For the very first time, in all the years?

Silent windows, all that you can ever give;
Let me guess, and let me will;
May you always be the guardian of the little doggy,
Above all worries of our lives,
